The mandate of Focus Group 3 is to provide a strategic vision, direction, and coordination for a programme of work that will re-define the concept of Integrated Coastal Management covering the full cycle of transdisciplinary information collection, planning, decision-making, management and monitoring of implementation. This concept will involve stakeholders from all relevant sectors to make sure that broad support for the implementation of management strategies is ensured.
